LG Optimus G and Google nexus 4 in comparison

The Google nexus 4 already no longer is the latest craze in the Smartphone market, because the South Korean manufacturer under its own brand brings the output model of LG Optimus G in the German trade. The LG Optimus G has to offer some extras nexus 4 compared to Google, but is this enough to animate now enough users to purchase?

In terms of everyday performance, both the LG Optimus G and Google should move nexus 4 at the same level. Finally, the same chip set with quad-core processor from Qualcomm (Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5 gigahertz) is installed in two smartphone models and the memory has the same size with 2 gigabytes each. No differences between the LG Optimus G and Google nexus 4 is also available at the battery (2100 mAh) and the IPS display: 4.7 inch, 1,280 x 768 pixels and 318 PPI are the most important indicators.

But the similarities stop already: the LG cell phone has the better, 13 megapixel resolution camera at least on paper, with 32 gigabytes, gigabyte offers more space and brings LTE support for all frequency bands used in Germany. These tools make the Optimus G with the big sister model of the nexus 4. On the other hand, it runs under jelly bean with Android 4.1.2 an older version of Android, on which also the manufacturer's own UI of Optimus is UI installed.

Visually both devices differ from each other by the shape of the case: the design of the LG Optimus G straighter lines characterized by, as it is known by the Optimus-L series smartphone models, while the nexus 4 has a rundlicheres case. Connectors, keys, cameras, speakers and brand logo are placed in the same places, the rear side of the housing protected with glass shows the interesting "Crystal reflection" effect, although in slightly different ways.
