In may 2013, the Taiwanese manufacturer is delivered Butterfly with large full HD touchscreen in German shops - but for the time being only to the electronics markets Media Markt and Saturn. The company silent a still over priced. Already in November 2012, HTC has presented the international version of his first 5-inch high-resolution screen smartphones, provided a market launch in Germany, but so far not in sight.
High pixel density
The
display of the butterfly is the second HTC cell phone, where the
manufacturer uses a full HD screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080
pixels after the slightly more compact one. The
Super-LCD3-display of novelty at the 5-inch diagonal therefore has a
pixel density of very high 441 ppi (pixels per inch, also known as:
pixels per inch) - similar to the full-HD screen in the XXL opponent
Sony Xperia Z. With the "smaller" 4, 8-inch display brings it the high resolution display in the HTC one on a pixel density of around 470 ppi.
Rugged case with QuadCore, but without LTE
For the butterfly, HTC also relies on a housing protected against dust and splash water. The quad core processor S4 Pro by Qualcomm 1.5 GHz works inside of round nine millimeter sleek novelty. The memory is 2 GB. HTC powered display giant also 16 GB internal memory and a slot for microSD cards. The battery delivers 2,020 mAh capacity. The fully featured mobile camera takes pictures with 8 Megapixels and filmed in full HD. The resolution of the front-facing camera is 2.1 Megapixels.
The
German version of the HTC Butterfly supports not the faster mobile
communications standard LTE in contrast to the US version of available
berits for several months. It brings the user via HSPA and Wi-Fi-n according to the manufacturer but quickly through the Internet. It is delivered with 4.1 Android and HTC's UI sense 4 +. The delivery of the latest user interface sense 5.0 for the first time in one, was also in preparation. About an update on Android 4.2.1 the manufacturer however, silent.
CHIP online says:
Hear all about. On
the direct rival Sony Xperia Z the HTC doesn't come closer Butterfly -
among other things due to the missing LTE wireless technology -
although, it can provide but using a cheaper price for interest. Remains only to be seen what will cost the novelty. This can be difficult to judge a butterfly without quotation.
