Now so but: Butterfly also in Germany will sell the HTC . The Smartphone was originally only intended to be other countries like Japan with 5-inch screen and full HD resolution comes from may in the shops. In addition, the mid-range model HTC desire SV should come to Germany - it was intended not for the German market.
The HTC Butterfly makes the HTC one competition. Technical
data such as full HD display resolution (1080 × 1920 pixels), quad core
processor and whopping two gigabytes of memory are identical for both
smartphones. However the HTC has Butterfly only half as much memory (16 GB) like the HTC one, but has a memory card slot.
5
Inches (12.7 cm) has the HTC Butterfly a somewhat larger display than
the HTC one (4.7 inches) and is thus a total slightly larger. The most visible difference is the back plastic – the HTC one is machined from an aluminium block.
HTC
has not previously named a price for the butterfly, but on the basis of
the equipment it might be slightly cheaper despite the larger displays
as the HTC one, which currently costs 600 euros. The butterfly has slightly slower processor and less memory, the material should be easier to handle than the HTC one.
Market opportunities too low?
It is not known why the HTC Butterfly not originally for the German market was determined. In industry, it is believed that HTC estimated the sales opportunities for giant smartphones as too low.
As Sony with the Xperia export Z and Samsung with the Galaxy S4 Fünfzöller to Germany, that could have changed. Sony has moved to even a second five-inch model with the Xperia ZL, also not originally intended for Germany.
HTC desire SV with dual SIM
The HTC desire SV was also not for the German market, is to appear in may, but now too. The mid-range Smartphone has a 4.3 "screen (10.9 cm) and a resolution of 480 × 800 pixels.
Internally a dual-core processor with one gigahertz, the memory is 768 MB. The eight GB memory can be expanded via memory card. What is special about the desire SV is the second SIM card slot, it can be operated at the same time, so with two phone numbers.
In
some countries, mainly in Asia or Africa, it is customary to operate
mobile phones with two SIM cards, for example, separate data and
telephone tariffs. A dual-SIM phone for travelers who frequently commute between the two countries is useful. Another use is the parallel use of business and private mobile with a single device.
